Write to me.
Everything lands in the same inbox, so the subject line is mostly for my sake. Telling me what I'm reading before I open it is the difference between a real answer and a slow one.
What happens to what you send
- Your own story
- I read all of it. I don't reply to most of it, and not for lack of wanting to, there's just more of it than one person can answer well. If you'd rather I not use any part of it anonymously in my writing, say so and I won't.
- Questions about the books
- Printing errors, missing pages, bulk orders, translation and permissions requests. Include your order number if it's a problem with a copy you bought.
- Consulting
- For individuals working through these patterns and for professionals who keep running into them in their own practice. Tell me what you're dealing with and I'll tell you whether I'm the right person for it.
- Press and speaking
- Interviews, panels, guest writing, and course or classroom use. I'm not taking podcast bookings right now.
What I can't do
I'm not able to give clinical advice by email, and none of my work substitutes for therapy with someone who knows your situation. If you're in crisis, contact your local emergency number or a crisis line in your country rather than waiting on a reply from me.
Or skip the form
contact@theestrangementproject.comI answer in the order things arrive, usually within a week or two. If something's time-bound, a deadline or an event date, put it in the subject line.
